Welding Smoke cleaner cartridge filter

(1) Principle of filtration
The welding smoke is absorbed by capture and enters filtration unit.

First it knocks into baffle and changes direction of airflow to upward. It can avoid direct strike to the filter cartridges.

Some large particles are separated before reaching filter cartridges, the other small particles are treated by PTFE membrane, and after that cleaned air are discharged to outsides. All the particles will fall into container under self-cleaning process to be collected.

Welding and related process generates nuisance:

Harmful gas such as CO, O3, NO, phosgene and metal oxides; smoke form of copper, aluminum, zinc, etc; particles such as iron oxide, alumina, manganese oxide, fluoride, barium, thorium dioxide, etc; carcinogen such as nickel oxide, chromium oxide, etc; and some radwaste.

Those nuisance must be cleaned pass the standard of national security environmental protection before discharge to the workshop or other work spaces.

(2) Filter element:
We choose PTFE membrane filter cartridges to be used in this dust collector. Traditional filter media (like cotton, sateen, paper and other cellulose material), its fiber space between 5-60um.

When dust particles get across, some of them enter inside of media and block it; even through self-cleaning, they cannot fall down(self-cleaning can only shake down the particles on surface of media).

But our PTFE membrane filter media, its tiny bore can block off mostly submicron particles; those submicron particles concentrate on surface of media and form dust layer to prevent after particles to enter inside of media. This is the recommending principle of surface filtration.

This PTFE membrane media has high filtration efficiency, at least 3~5times to traditional media. And its service life increases 2~3times.
